Volunteer Activities
Please volunteer with us on the following Saturdays at Thomasville Heights Elementary School from 9:30 am until noon by registering for the Discovery Program on The Hands On Atlanta website at www.handsonatlanta.org:

Thanks to your donations and volunteer services and our affiliation with Hands On Atlanta, we have been able to do so much with and for the children of the Atlanta inner city.
A few of the activities performed by the children so far in 2011 are reading the book by President Obama to his daughters and writing a letter to Mrs. Obama; writing to some of our soldiers in Afghanistan and sending them packages of food; writing to children in Haiti and sending them health kits; writing to the mayor of Atlanta asking for better communities; learning about healthy eating with vegetables and fruits; and going on a field trip to The Center for Puppetry Arts.
Besides the learning activities on Saturdays, ACE also provides donations, books, school supplies, educational games, food, and clothing to the especially needy families.
